Sitematch places selling out fast

Tue 9th January 2018, 11:01 am

With the 8th of February approaching fast, developers, councils and advisors are getting ready for Sitematch London, the speed dating style property event. And there are only limited places left.

34 Public sector organisations have already confirmed their place with at least another 15 expected to join on the 8th of February, including 24 London boroughs, the Ministry of Justice, the Greater London Authority, Transport for London, and NHS Property Services already on board.

Over 50 investors, developers and housing associations will attend the event, including Barratt London, Thames Valley Housing Association, Bouygues UK, Galliard Homes, Mount Anvil and U+i.

Lucy Taylor, Ealing Council’s director of regeneration and planning policy, looks forward to the event. She said: “We value the opportunity that Sitematch affords us and look forward to meeting and discussing the next stage of Ealing’s evolution into one of London’s most exciting boroughs.”

Richard Upton, deputy chief executive U+I said Sitematch is a “fantastic idea for bringing people together and starting to build some relationships and trust.”

Deputy Mayor of Housing James Murray, Shadow Secretary of State for housing Rt Hon John Healey MP, and Lendlease's newly appointed head of offices, Sherin Aminossehe will be keynote speakers at the event.

Sitematch London will also host Briefing Sessions focusing on PRS, wholly owned council housing companies and the role of housing associations.

In 2017 - 93% of the delegates interviewed were confident Sitematch London will lead to further meetings/discussions, and 100% said they had made new and useful contacts.

There are still delegate passes (including 5 x 15 minute meetings with the local authorities of your choice, on a first-come-first-served basis) as well as networking passes available for Sitematch London.
